Brown Bag Project

Your brown bag should be a large paper grocery bag .

You may put in at least 3 or more fat quarters into the bag.

You may put in backing material  also,

If you have a favorite pattern or instructions that you wish to have made you can include them in the bag also. You may ask for a wall hanging, table runner or purse.

The item to be made should not measure more than 36" square  or the table runner not more that 48" in length.

When you bring the bags back in May you should have a long envelope in which you placed your name and sealed it and stapled or clipped to the top of the bag and the bag itself should be stapled together.

The outside of the envelope you leave blank and when the anonymous person picks up your bag they  will write their name and ph # or e-mail on the envelope and give it to Winnie Surratt to hold.

Your quilted challenge will be returned at the Nov. 8, meeting as a finished project.

The back will be labeled and it will be quilted either by machine or hand quilted.  No tying.

Keep it a secret from the person you are making it for but feel free to discuss it with others if you like.

Return any unused fabric when the project is finished and the quilt is given back to the recipient.

Have fun with it. It's not supposed to be stressful.
